Hi. Im new here and I am about to build a new computer for the 1st time. not expensve one though!

Are these components right and is there anything missing. Will all the right cables come with the hardware. (E.g. will the hdd cable come with the motherboard - doesnt say in any descriptions which is why i added the extra PSU - it comes with wires and its 550w compared to the one in the tower case)

Motherboard -- MSI 945GZM3-L, i945GZ, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 400/533, SATA II, uATX, On Board VGA

edit out any reference to cometitors quickly before your banned
(i think your screenshot should be ok if you crop the bottom off)

512Mb ASUS Radeon X1600Pro PCI-E(x16) 12Pipes 540MHz GDDR2 500MHz GPU D-Sub/DVI-I/S-Video/TV Out

Faster GPU clock
Twice the memory (albeit at a lower clock speed)
£3 more

Maybe the X1950PRO
its a bit more expensive at ~£120
but most likely worth it

that looks great - probably get that

does directx work with that ATI card? iv only had nvidia cards
 
Of course it will.
Why are you bothering with a 80GB drive? The cost difference between 80GB and a larger HD isn't that much, nowadays 80GB isn't that much, especially once you put on music, movies and games.

Look at a 250GB.
