Skeleton setup outside of case is the nest step ideally.

But before you do that i would have one last look around the MB.

Perhaps reseat all the power inputs into the MB, gfx and cpu fan header etc - sometimes this simple process can yield results.
 
Ok, well I attempted most if not all of the posted ideas. I cannot be bothered to build outside of the case at the moment,as I barely know what I'm doing as it is. As I said, everything looks to be in the right place and connected properly, as once you know where it goes it seems obvious. I will upload some pictures of as much of the set up as I can.

Stulid, if I'm completely honest, as much as I appreciate your help ever since I started this thread, I'm not sure I like the idea of someone I don't know at all coming to my house to try and fix a £750 computer.

I can understand that - i would leave it alone for few hours (or a day) and come back to it a fresh.

Unless you get any differing signs of life i'm afraid the setup outside of the case is the next logical step. Unless, you have a PSU, memory gfx etc you can borrow to test...

This too is understandable but, although i don't know stulid, unless you’re under 18 i would consider his offer. It's actually an incredibly generous offer - certainly more than i would ever offer a forum member (apart from a very select few and they wouldn’t need my help).

I suggest using the spy hole on your front door and if he arrives dressed in gold hot pants, with a bottle Liebfraumilch and a Friends DVD in his hands – just don’t open the door.

To be honest here, if I was in your position and I had someone who is quite respected and has also built another forum members PC in their own home, I would tear their arm off, a 6 pack of his fav beer and a pizza and you're good to go.
