Building my own laptop? TV tuner possible?

I've just started looking into building my own laptop, as I need to get rid of my desktop PC as it takes up too much space, but from what I've seen so far, it looks like there's very little scope available for customization. However, I've got Windows MCE 2005 and was wondering if it's possible to build my own laptop with a TV tuner, hoping to save a little? Also, does anyone know if there are component-in compatible ones which could be used? - I was going to consider saving up for a Qosmio G35, but was rather disappointed that Toshiba hadn't gone to the effort of including component/HDMI input on what is supposed to be a HD Media Center.
