Aerocool Dryft v2 Midi-Tower ATX i did luke the look of this but again i havent a clue what will

So, is the PC all up and running now?

If so, glad its all sorted and working. taking your time and asking if unsure got you there in the end.
Its all up and running now , appreciate all the information , obviously theres a few bits as suggested to check out , but it didnt catch fire lol. Yeah ill always ask , its the reason i joined theres more lnowledge in asking than not ... think its created a bug , it was really enjoyable in the end

@g6yob - I really would avoid that case (edit: the Kolink Void!) if you want to put an AIO in, it supports a 240mm radiator in the front but the hoses might be a bit stretched. It was good for the time but there are better options now. It also only comes with one fan.

For a similar price range I just found this, which is modelled after the Lian-Li O11D series (very popular in the last few years, to the point that they're becoming cliche!). It comes with lots of controllable fans and has lots more room for cooling and longer graphics cards:

Or if you wanted something still in a more traditional upright tower config, there are lots of options...

The Montech X3 looks pretty good, although the fans can't be controlled on this:

This MSI looks ok, although I'd have to check reviews to ensure the airflow is good enough etc.

If you can spend a little more (like up to £75-80) then something like this:

Just seen your post above and was going to suggest that case :) (but please for the love of god take all those pics out or put them in a spoiler :p )

Either that or the more expensive Unity Meshbay would be my recommendation out of the ones I've highlighted, they both open up the option of a 360mm cooler if required

..... The Aerocool looks fantastic for the money, kinda got me tempted to pick one up to put my second system in!

apologies for the additional pictures , my phone wouldnt remove them . Its definitely the kolink or aerocool i think. Ill have a look now and order one or the other , just soo many options but it was better that i got recommendations as if of bought something that would have probably limited the options .

Trying to find them 2 on amazon as i have a £80 refund , but there nowhere to be seen ... the brands are on there but different style cases

No worries, you should be able to edit the post and add " [ SPOILER ] " at the start and " [ / SPOILER ] " at the end of the pics, with the spaces removed, but it's all good :)

I can't exactly advise you to spend money elsewhere due to forum rules.... but I can't find them 'elsewhere' either.
I'm sure you could find something (again, can't mention things ocuk sell) else to use that on and buy the case from here.

Edit: I'd also suggest that for anything you'll be paying postage on it'd be best to just save the money in a separate pot, in whatever way is best to manage that, rather than buying it 1-2 bits at a time...it'll quickly add up and could eat up 10% of your overall budget!

I completely get that , and understood on forum rules I DO intend to use overclockers shop for a majority of my items lol . Just having a look through there cases now

He likes the idea of full tempered glass (more leds to look at ) ive also seen one called amanson pc case ATX MID TOWER TEMPERED GLASS

  • Powerful Cooling System] PC case can accommodate 10 ARGB 120mm fans to provide lighting while maintaining good airflow.Amanson PC cases support, ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards.
  • [Unique Design] ATX Gaming Case is equipped with tempered glass on the front and left side of the case, allowing a clear view of the RGB lighting and the components inside the building, creating a great gaming atmosphere.
  • [More Space] Mid tower computer case with extra space inside, maximum length 360mm GPU, top of PC case designed for mounting 360/280/240mm radiator.
  • [Top I/O Panel] 1 USB3.0 port, 2*USB2.0 HD audio, Restart power button.ATX gaming case provides more convenience and entertainment for gamer.
  • [Super Cable Management] Back Bays:3.5*1 HDD's and 1 *2.5'' SSD's.H6 mid tower gaming pc case comes with 1 dust filter , a large space behind the motherboard tray for hidden cable management, this area will help you clean up the interior and improve airflow.
Not sure if specs are any good on this.

It looks ok, although some of the reviews mentioned that it is very thin sheet metal. This makes me think it's a bit overpriced for what it is.
Also I saw 2 versions, 1 with fans included and one without at different price points....

For the price of the one without fans you could get a Phanteks NV5, which is a known brand and having built in several of their cases I've always found the quality to be great.
It's a more upright case (as the PSU is on the bottom not behind the motherboard tray) but still has a similar glass front and side type aesthetic.

Or for the same price as the one with fans, there's the NZXT H6, which again is a known brand and includes 3 RGB fans that are likely to be better than the ones included with the amanson

If I'm being perfectly honest, the name 'amanson' doesn't inspire much confidence for me given where they are selling them :P
But it's your money and at that age your son will want what he wants and likely not be as snobby as I am about the quality of the fans, so don't let me drag you too far off the track :)

Ill replace fans regardless if there not of good quality thats no issue , theres also KEDIERS c770 , but again i know nothing of the brands

It's another unknown brand - looks to be of similar quality to the amanson one, also

- it's an mATX case so would restrict your choice of motherboard
- I can't see the supported graphics card length, so could restrict your choice of card too
- will only fit a maximum of a 240mm AIO cooler

So many choices i really do apologise with the questions , just dont wany one thats limiting the options . The last one i looked at was this . Tried to minimise photos the best i could lol

1ST PLAYER Steam Punk SP8 Mid Tower

Also ionz kz - vf , seem to have good reviews

Im kind of understanding what you mean by space etc , with regards to hardware as smaller cases limited your options with regards to a decnt gpu etc

The 1stplayer looks ok, I think my server/bedroom pc case is one of theirs and if so then build quality is pretty good. The also have a lot of other cases available which might fit your needs

The kz-vf doesn't look too bad either, with the PSU at the bottom making it narrower so will take up less desk space.

I'd still probably go for the Phanteks NV5 personally...

I've also just seen that 1stplayer make some coolers as well, might be worth a look as you mentioned tubes previously - They have ARGB tubing, which I've not seen form other makes.... a bit flashy for my tastes but for a 9 yr old probably right up their alley :p

Regarding space, it may not be too much of an issue depending on what setup you end up going for (i.e. there are plenty of good mATX motherboards out there, I'd probably still say leave room for a longer graphics card for a future upgrade as that will likely be the main thing you might want to change in a few years!)

Edit: If you can give an indication of overall budget then someone here would be able to spec you parts, which could include an mATX motherboard if required!

And don't worry about asking questions, that's what forums are for :)

Ok ive bit the bullet got the 1st player one , ive noticed it takes 120mm fans , was gonna get cooler masters argb mg120, are they good enough ?

Can't find MG120, if you meant the MF120 ones they're probably fine (they'd better be at ~£20 a pop!), the ones with HALO in the name spin a little slower (and therefore quieter) at max speed.

They appear to be midway between an airflow and static pressure design - meaning they should be fine for either case fan or radiator.
Website says they're 'rifle' bearings, I don't know whether that's a good or bad type of bearing.

Poxy autocorrect , yes there mf120s , i actually got them at £9 a go , so its not a massive loss if i decide to replace them down the line really. Just wanted something gaming based for him to open up on xmas so he knows ....with regards to budget im not entirely sure really . More budget-ish but id quiet happily replace parts pretty quick to upgrade . Needs to be capable of gaming for him , ie fifa fortnite etc etc . Its also his first pc so its a chance to learn how to use it all. But definately gonna be having all the led treatment with led cabling , brackets etc
