Building new computer

im going to be building my core 2 duo pc tommorrow. are there any tips that you can give me and also can someone give me a link to a step by step guide to fitting in the proccessor as this is something ive never done before

also can someone recommend a psu that would be suitable for overclocking but also cheap.
it has to power the following:
ausu p5n-e
core2duo e4300
2 harddrives
1 dvd writer

oh yeah. graphic card is 7600gs

also would this be future proof because if im paying more then £30 i might as well get one that is or is it that the £70-80 ones are the fututre proof one?
