So I'm looking to build a new PC as I'm getting back into gaming but I've been a bit out of touch with hardware and components as of recent as I've been at college. I've heard good things about certain things and bad about others and so on and so forth, but I don't really have a great knowledge as of yet. I was hoping someone would be able to help me choose components for a build that meets my 'requirements'?

So my budget is around £600 - £750 (Inc. Windows 10) and I'd like to be able to play most modern titles at 1080p 60fps+ ideally. Everything cranked up to mega ultra settings isn't really a priority, but if the games can look nice that's always a plus

. I play games like GTA5, Arma 3, PUBG, etc. I also do audio production so I need something that's quiet but has good cooling. In terms of storage I'm looking for something like a 3TB HDD, I'm not too bothered about SSD storage. My only other preferences for the PC is an mATX case as I only have so much desk room.

Hopefully someone could help, it'd be much appreciated.

Ryzen 5 1400
MSI B350 M Gaming Pro MATX
Kingson Savage DDR4 3000 2x4GB
Seagate Barracuda 3TB (ST3000)
Zotac GTX 1060 6GB mini
Zalman ZMT1 plus case
Corsair CX500 (there are arguably superior alternatives such as Superflower HX550)
Win 10 X64

Works out to bout 700 pound. Don't forget to overclock the CPU.

This is just a guide and you would still need to factor in the price of Windows. (If you could afford to i would add a better quality PSU)

The 1200 will clock to 1300X values/above with the supplied stock cooler making it great value (it will go clock for clock with the 1300X with a semi decent 3rd party cooler - but needs more money).

You could knock down the build cost by dropping to a GTX 1050/Ti will still do a decent jon at 1080p but would need settings adapted:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £683.55
(includes shipping: £11.70)
