Building new system for a friend

What software should i use to test it before giving him the pc .
He wants to install windows him self but i work like to make sure every thing is working before handing it over

If hes going to install Windows, then how can you install any programs without Windows?

You could install Windows, run Prime95, 3DMark etc, see how it performs and then just format it.

If he wants to install the OS himself then leave it. As long as it boots and everything is stock it will be fine.
