ill be oc'ing the dual core, any idea what speed i could reach with this setup (thats if the chips a good clocker :P) or any changes i should do

You'll probably get 2.4-2.6GHz out of the CPU quite comfortably with the setup. Anything higher is just a bonus.

If you don't have a graphics card waterblock, that will likely account for most of the noise in your case. It might be worth looking at getting a waterblock, or considering an Artic Cooler for the X1800.

Good luck with it :)

thanks, not sure if im right or not but i thought that the arctic cooler for the x1800 wasnt out yet? cant seem to find it on the website

Deffo get a waterblock or a different cooler for the videocard.

Arctic cooling or Zalman VF700 are much better than the retail cooler.

Can HIGHLY recommend WCing your gfx card. It won't add much to the overall cost, but will definately help the card overclock a lot more.

They tend to be much more heat-limited than CPUs.

You'd be crazy not to :D
