needs a good gaming rig with a budget of £1200 so ive just done a quick spec ill probably be ordering this afternoon !!

Looks like a nice setup, I would dish the retail version (comes with an intel heatsink/fan) of the 6600 though. I currently have one and its noisy and doesn't keep my chip very cool.

Get the OEM version accompanied with the Tuniq Tower or Thermalright HR-01/Ultra-120. Silent cooling, thats effective! :)

I'd like to build a similar rig, but I cant see an OEM version of the E6600 on the overclockers website?? Only the E6300...

Am I missing it?

cheers for replys, i think as stated a better heatsink/fan combo would be prudent
i hate building for other peeps, specially when you first try to boot and wait anxiously praying not to hear any *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* alarms !!! :p
