I hope you have thought about a proper design before you start making your desk..
One thing that can trip many people up is the CPU cooler backplate, as you need access to the back of the motherboard/tray to secure it in place.
Another consideration is cooling. Due to the nature of wood it can be too easy to trap heat, you need to ensure the air flow of the whole desk is worked out. Itd be best to have multiple short airflow channel, across the VPU, or WC rads abd the GPU (or rads for WC GPUs) to start with.
Then you need to think access to the components, its easy to neglect this but you will need to clean/update/replace components from time to time (or service/refill your WC loop).
Another boring topic but material choice is important, the last thing you want is fragments of wood to read on or damage your components, especially as you'll be using very high end hardware.
