Building PC!

Hehe, If I lived in NI I would be very tempted by your offer :)

But if I can give you some advice. PC building may seem daunting (it sure was for me when I first contemplated doing it), but with today's extremely modular components putting a PC together is as difficult as putting together an Ikea chest-of-drawers. All you really need is some clear instructions and healthy sense of adventure :)

ino but i want a really good gaming rig and i dont want it too be held back because i cant build computers lol:D

Thats perfectly understandable. When you do find some one to put it together for you, I would recommend asking If you can watch it being put together. Just from watching I'm sure you will gain some good knowledge and tips on how to put together/maintain/upgrade a gaming rig for the future.

As a self confessed logitech mouse fanboy I have had the mx 1000, G5, MX Revolution and the MX 1100. Of the lot, I must say that the MX 1100 is by far the superior mouse. It has the cool scroll wheel of the MX Revolution (and better implemented IMHO), high DPI laser (1600DPI), document flip has been hidden ( on the revolution it was annoying and uncomfortable). Furthermore, It uses AA batteries but it goes 280 days on 2 of them (I haven't changed mine since before christmas). So, all in all its the best mouse for the job, and you can have one for much less.

ok another silly question
would my computer look better than a ps3/360 at 1080p?

PS3/360 only upscales games rendered at 720p as far as I know. That system will blow the socks off any PS3/360:
The game will be rendered in FullHD
You can turn up AA to make lines appear very smooth and no jaggies
Your draw distances will be far higher on the same games
Your Frames per second will likely never dip below 40
You get to play games consoles simply can't handle (crysis)

In other words, You win.

awesome
its just ive always wanted a gaming desktop
and ive never seen once in real life just on youtube videos

cmndr andi? can you play crysis at high settings (what res)?

i wouldnt be ordering it until next week and it would take a few days to come, how long does it take to build>?

Can put a PC together in an hour or 2, but its little details that take longer, getting all the cabling sorted out and sorting the airflow out etc

Plus you get the long haul of installing your OS and downloading all your drivers :p
