Hello all again,

This has continued from this previous thread:

I've decided to change somethings again. I thought I would rather not bother spending £800 on dual 580GTX's and go crossfire with 1 6950 that I already have and then buy another one. I also updated it with the new bundle that Stulid recommended.

Now my real question is, I would like to spend £120 more on the build, but for the life of me I have no clue on what. Is there any updates from that current build that you would suggest me replacing?

NOTE: I've already got at my house the 1000w PSU, the case, the SSD, a HDD drive (750GB) and the 120mm fan and therefore these can't be replaced.

Thanks again for the help guys!

Upgrade your monitor to a dell ultrasharp, that would be my first choice.
You could go for 2 HDD's in raid
Dual 6990's or 595's when they are released.

Is there SUCH a difference with the dell sharp to the Samsung?

Whats the point of having 2 HDD's in raid? I'm rather a bit slow with the computing world :)

Yeah, that's WHEN they are released, but we have no confirmed date when they're released and I want this rig within the next week :>.

Thanks for the fast reply btw :) Much appreciated

2 HDD's in RAID (assuming he means RAID 0) would give you better read / write speeds, just generally making everything you do that little bit quicker (correct me if I'm wrong).

There's also different types of RAID as well, even if you don't happen to do anything other than RAID 0, it's quite handy and interesting to read up on...
or maybe that's just me :D

Why would you waste money on an overclocked bundle? There's so many great guides on how to do it. Spend money on a better ram and cooler plus save £30 doing so....

Haha I would mate but there's so many guides out there with such RED WARNING lights saying do this and you'll be doomed! etc lol. So I just went for it. I've got the cash so it's not a problem :>.

Why do it yourself when you can pay someone to do it for you! Ha :). Sorry couldn't resist!
