After having my rig for a year or so now whilst still toying around with consoles etc i seem to have found i am starting to enjoy it more than i thought and im now looking at adding to my rig in some way shape or form.

Currently i have:

Corsair 450D
Gigabyte sniper G1 Z87 Mobo
Intel i5 4670K
Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 750Ti
HyperX 8GB 2400MHz CL11 DDR3
Corsair CXM 750W modular 80 PLUS bronze
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HD
Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD

Im really happy with the way it is running at the moment and after the initial awkward switch, i would like to stay with PC gaming so i was looking at tidying everything up and squeezing the last drops of power out of this before buying some new gear.

i have been toying with overclocking and have taken little baby steps that are unnoticable right now but maybe time will tell with those.

i was also looking for some custom cables to tidy up the rig as its been apart and put together several times it has found itself in a little bit of a mess.

i have seen a few posts and options where they offer the kit to do it yourself, and then there are others that you give the specs to and they make them for you. the problem is i dont know where to start with it all and if things will change if i change my gpu for example.

any ideas or experiences with custom cables and management would be greatly appreciated!

First, you need to get an image up of the build to make this a project log or it will be moved/ locked.

The cabling for a graphics card is simple, when you order get an additional 6+2 pin PCIE cable and you will be ready for the next card. What pins does your current card use?

The do it yourself method requires patience and gets easier over time. To reduce clutter you would want custom cables to fit your psu directly not extensions as these will make routing much more of a challenge to keep it tidy.

edit: Also if you are overclocking then are you using a good cooler for the CPU or are you using the stock one?

The cable mod stuff looks decent however you would need to use the original psu connectors to not have extensions running around. I don't know about your specific psu OP but some cables can double up and would need to be soldered together which can become a pain to braid and look neat but they would be 'hidden' with the psu out of sight.
