I'll post some pics at some point, its a bit of a murky day here, so lighting isn't that great.
Bit of an mixed bag of components, the buying process was erratic. Went from a budget/mid range build, followed by my girlfriends redundancy and nearly cancelling the whole thing, then a shiny new job with an large increase in budget.
Overall i'm happy with the parts going in.
Graphics card is coming next payday, i've got a 9800gtx going in for now.
I will probably buy a faster SSD soon.

Case is ready and the motherboard is all set to go in, but I need to pick up the missus from work.
I've left a few pics uploading, will post on my return.

Dont you think mobo is a bit of an overkill?? Costs more than CPU -.- Could`ve got one for 80 quid and bought a decent video card for the change....

I push my 2700k to 5.0 ghz on a 70 quid giga mobo...

Got some pictures for you.

I need to spend some "quality time" then its a quick test, and into the case it goes.

I agree, but that's just me I guess. I enjoy the finer things in life, lol.
I had a touch of buyers remorse, but it didn't last long.
I'm getting a 680 I think, so my GPU isn't going to suffer from the mobo purchase.

When I was looking at those pics I had the intro to "Dirty" by Christina Aguilera playing in my head.

Dirty, nasty pc components :D

Just out of interest; Did you remove the top case fan for any reason a reason?

Looks good man, I have the same case and love how easy it is to work with.

I moved it to the front to create positive pressure. Thought it would be a good place to start. Will have a proper play around at some point, was planning on getting different fans but they're pretty quite.
