Building Watercooling Rig - Static Procauctions

Hi everyone,
Going to start adding in my watercooling to my rig later this evening. I`ve got an anti static mat connected to a non painted bit of a radiator and a wrist strap attached to this aswell (so the parts will have the same charge as me because they`re both connected to ground

Bearing in mind that the mb/ vgc/ ram etc are going to be out of the case for over 24hours (to complete the leak test) what is the best way of storing them? would it be ok to just leave them on the anti static mat uncovered? (bear in mind that the mrs has thrown my anti static bags away that they came in,

if you simply touch the radiator before touching any of the components you will have earthed yourself and there would be no possibility of static shock
