Hey guys, so I managed to get home and build my first PC. It took around an hour and a half and was a very frustrating time lol.
Anyways, my Sapphire 5850 ain't working, but I think I need to power it? How?
I've got no sound, I have the Asus M4A&8LT-M motherboard. I see that there are two connections from the Coolermaster 430 case: a HD Audio one and an AC '97 one. Which do I use? I've connected the AC '97 one somewhere... but obviously it doesn't work. With that said, I haven't installed any drivers from CD or downloads for Mobo, card etc. Would that be the problem?
Eh... not sure what other problems there are, as it boots up perfectly, Windows 7 installed etc.
It's incrdibly messy, a comple spaghetti junction and I'm ashamed of it
, but hopefully no wires will get caught in the fans etc.
Also, what software shall I use to monitor temperatures of the CPU and Card? As I hope that I put the CPU cooler on correctly
