Built new system and having a problem!

So I built my new system 3 days ago.

I have this problem with false readings of RPM and Temps.

I got replacement motherboard today and it is doing the same thing.

Tried with stock cooler and Arctic i30.

Check out this pic:

Setup is:
P8Z77-V
i7-3770
Corsair 2x8GB CL10
M4 256GB
(I assume the rest is not needed in regard to my "problem).

Please tell me what to do. Should I ignore the readings?

Any help appreciated.

Looks perfect to me

(2^16) -1 = 65535
(2^7) - 1 = 127

You got me quite confused there mate. Where did you get that "2^16" from and why? :confused:

Derived by 16bit Architecture ... now what's going to bite your noodle is how I got 2^7 instead of 2^8 ..... I'm sure you'll work out why

I am still kind of confused but whatever. If you say it is good, I take your word for it.

However, I still don't understand why before the "bug" with the RPM occurs, there is only one FAN listed under Fans, and when the "bug" occurs, there are 5.

Should I be worried about any of these things or just ignore and not bother looking at them ever again?

Haven't built a new system in several years, so I am kind of behind on tech
