BUKcase vs DODOcase

I have been looking for a discreet iPad smart case for when I can get my hands on the iPad Air. At the moment I have found two decent enough ones. The DODO which I can only get shipped from the USA (i will probably get a custom one) and perhaps will cost a fair bit more ($130) and take longer to arrive than the BUK that is UK made but is more simplistic in design.

Currently I am leaning towards the DODO case purely because they have been making these cases longer than BUK and perhaps better quality by experience (?); for example the corner pieces appear more sturdy. They also have a greater level of personalisation. However, I haven't seen either in real life. Having just done a search on the forum I found the group buy thread for the DODO and some owners said their iPad fell out quite easily.... so now I really am not sure at all!

The Twelve South BookBook case looks a bit bulkier and I am not particularly keen on the look, so I have ruled that option out. Are there any other high quality iPad cases out there that I have not mentioned?

Can any owners share their experiences of either? If all else fails I will have to settle for Apple's own leather smart case whose colours are rather crude, other than black.

Thanks

Dodo cases are A grade, I have one on my ipad mini and a few of my mates have got them after seeing mine.

The rainforest UK does stock some of them.

I had a Dodocase, it lasted about 12 months before it cracked....

There were teething problems with the rubber corners, mine keep falling off. They do send you replacements however free of charge but they kept falling off so I superglue them down.

When it works, it works, the actual moleskin, the feel of the product is lovely. It has a class look. However it is not thin, it is quite bulky and these days i prefer the smart cover with a silicon back rubber case. Plus the Dodocase doesn't act as a stand without some clever anchoring with other objects.
