I know Bernie wants to go to economically emerging countries where there is investment for the sport...but Bulgaria? Does he know something I do not? Doesn't seem too glamerous either.

I went to Bulgaria (Varna) for my honeymoon - it's an excellent place.

It's capital, Sofia, is easily up there with the likes of Budapest, Prague etc.

If the heat can be controlled and the temperature is announced well in advance (before the season starts ideally), I don't see a problem.

Otherwise temperature can be manipulated to favour teams (based on season performances) imo.
This is what I was thinking, when I made the thread.

What is the heating for?
Is it to clear rain off the track or create better traction overall?
Isn't Bulgaria cold? Perhaps it's their way to insure the track isn't frozen / too cold to race on.
