Hi could someone suggest a build for me. I do astrophotography and therefore need capacity to combine lots of dslr images (image stacking) sometimes 1000 x 20mb images. The software compares and overlays each image, my current pc takes 12 hours to perform this task. I'm not sure where I should spend my money to speed this up - ssd, gpu, cpu, ram? I also occasional like to play first person games, bioshock infinite and such. Budget is £700 but could spend up to £900 if would reap benefits. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks, my current build is pretty old:

@Martianrover

ryzen 1700, slightly slower then 2700/2700x but has the same 8 cores/16 threads but a lot cheaper !
32GB ram instead of 8 or 16gb along with larger SSD... speed and size is key. You'll be having 20GB of data, moving that from SSD to PCU via ram and back to SSD from completion- move the finished workload to HDD to keep SSD free and clean .
gtx 1050ti for solid 1080p 30-60fos gaming

My basket at Overclockers UK:

uk warranty on board and gpu along with best budget Tier 2 psu
