Bulk email

Could it be the server is setting a limit? I work in a school and I sometimes have to send emails to all staff, which is over 50 people, and that never fails. My colleagues in the office send out a Friday memo with info about the following week's events, again to all staff and there's no problems. The only times I get any error messages is if a person's email address has changed and the old one is now unavailable which is a cue for me to remove it from the list. :)

Thats a good point, I'll ask the question of my providers, thanks.

What version of Outlook are you using? Go to tools > options > email accounts and see how it's set up. It's probably POP3, are you using an O2 email address?

A copy / paste of the bounce back email will also help.

I am using the Outlook that came with my Office Professional 2010. Yes it is pop3 and an O2 email address. Like an idiot I have already deleted the bounce back message.
Out of 25 emails it only delivered 20. When I send the bounced 5 as a group on their own they went fine. Cheers.

It should be in your deleted items folder but I'd say the problem is with O2 limiting the amount of recipients to prevent spam rather than Outlook.

Thanks m4rkw7, I will ring O2 in the morning. I auto empty my deleted items folder every time Outlook closes. This has proved to be not such a good idea after all ;)
