Hi there
I have approx 5gB of photos, given to me by various people. Unfortunately several of the contributors didn't set the time/date correctly on their cameras before shooting thus their entire contributions have incorrect EXIF information... I have to organise the collection and from the results create a 15 minutes 'highlights' DVD for next Monday. What would make this a heck of a lot easier would be if I could automatically sort the pictures into folders by the time & date taken, enabling me to match them up with our expedition itinerary.
What I'm after is a piece of software that will enable me to 'timeshift' the EXIF time & date info in a collection (I can work out the shift factor by
using some of my [correctly timestamped] pictures for reference), thus leaving me with correctly timestamped EXIF data across the whole collection. An added bonus would be if I could then automatically move pictures into folders based on date taken.
Can anyone suggest a program that will let me to do either of these tasks? If not I guess I might end up looking for an EXIF PHP plugin type thing and find myself writing a script.
