Bulletstorm is an upcoming 2011 First-person Shooter video game developed by Polish video game developer People Can Fly and Epic Games[2], and is published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.

Players utilize a large arsenal consisting of over-the-top combat moves and incredibly large weapons. Bulletstorm also consists of a variety of unique "skillshots" which create extreme levels of frantic gameplay. The skillshot gameplay system rewards the player for creating and inciting mayhem in the most creative way possible. The more unique the skillshot, the more points players receive to upgrade their character, unlock weapons which allow the player to perform even more creative moves and exaggerated skillshots

The game is currently scheduled for a February 22, 2011 release

Apparantly People Can Fly wanted a pc demo but Epic said NO, Typical Epic being tossers towards the PC gaming community

Destructoid has a report on plans for copy protection in Bulletstorm, along with a follow up on the DRM in People Can Fly's upcoming first-person shooter. They note that the Electronic Arts Online Disclosures for PC Games Page indicates the digitally distributed version of the game requires a persistent internet connection, but follow that up with People Can Fly denying this in a tweet, seeming to blame the internet, rather than EA for the confusion (later backing off), saying: "******* Internets... No, Bulletstorm PC does not require any constant connection, only for install and for online play (duh!)." True to that, clicking through to the EULA itself (Adobe Acrobat-format), we see it contains word on the game's Zero Day Piracy Protection (ZDPP) and Server Side Authentication (SSA), saying: "ZDPP requires a one-time access to the Internet. It may prompt users to enter their serial code (enclosed with purchase) in order to install their game. If the code is invalid, or entered before the product’s release date, the installed executable files will remain encrypted and unusable. SSA requires a one-time access to the Internet in order to authenticate your serial code. Please keep your serial code. You may need it to access online features and/or if you seek to install your game on more than one machine." The EULA also indicates the game will use the unpopular Games for Windows LIVE, saying it will require: "A Windows Live ID and Account, installation of the Games for Windows Live software, acceptance of the Games for Windows LIVE Terms of Use."

A Serial Code
Online Authentication
AND Windows Live ID and Account

DAMN!

Bulletstorm’s planet is the single most beautiful location a game’s taken me to since Bioshock dragged me down to Rapture, and the game’s corridor-shooter design is careful not to make it any less believable as the holiday resort you quickly discover that it used to be.

What’s really interesting is that there are times where this concept of vacationing is also pursued in the level design. Without wanting to give too much away, those first four hours feature not just a train ride, but a water slide and a disco, and it’s all every bit as entertaining as it sounds.

his is a game that wants you to laugh so hard that you sneeze on yourself, but it's also a game that wants you to experiment as much as possible with the tools you've been given. Its cleverness is as lightly worn as it is unexpected. It's the best kind of guilty pleasure.

VERY short game, but high scores 9/10 ( 10/10 ) e.t.c

great game looks great aswell, though the game seems to only work in DX9 even though it uses the Unreal 3 Engine.

But you get the idea if its going to run on your system correctly :

An article on Ars Technica talks about issues with the PC edition of Bulletstorm, the just-released first-person shooter from Epic Games and People Can Fly. This offers some gripes about the PC edition of the game, talking about unreadable text after switching to widescreen mode, lack of in-game graphics adjustments, a framerate lock, the use of Games for Windows LIVE, and more. The good news is they describe how many of these issues can be addressed by messing around in the .ini files, which they describe as "weakly encrypted." They don't actually give details on what to change or how, but say: "The various unofficial forums online have great advice for different video card set-ups. Don't look for critical thoughts on the PC version on the official site, however, as those are getting locked," but a later article offer more tangible suggestions.
