Interview with casey + his family

Saw this video on facebook and wanted to share and ask what you think about it?

From what I've read (could all be not true) this kid has been bullied all his life and that day he finally snapped, picked the guy up and bombed him into the concrete, an overreaction or not?
And the kid who dumped him onto the floor got suspended.
Half of me says, good on the lad bullies are ******** and deserve everything they get, other side makes me say that is an overreaction and that kid looks like he got his ankle broke.

Thoughts?

Picking anyone up like that is dangerous, kid could have easily paralysed him which'd make his life far worse.

However it's probably likely that the bullied kid won't get picked on any more because of this, and maybe the bully will think twice in future, so all is well :)

But the fact the kid got suspended for it to me is the worst part. That kid deserved it 100% maybe not to get (possibly) his ankle broken, but he deserved a beating.

It's right that the kid got suspended, although some would say he was right for doing what he did, schools can hardly promote an environment when violence and retaliation is the right thing to do.

And if he did nothing then it would haev just been another humiliating bullying session, that was being recorded and if it got put on the internet like that video was then it would be absolute humiliation.

Bullying is absolutely horrible and creates problems like this.

He should be suspended, however he was right in what he did. Shame it wasn't more damaging tbh.

If you listen there's a definite 'crack' noise. I think his ankle is broken.

Heart warming story lol. Schools are dumb when it comes to dealing with bullying and the skinny kid got what he deserved, may it live on youtube forever.

Not going to lie, the first time I watched it and saw him pick him up I thought 'I hope he doesn't kill him', but as the other kid seemed to be fine I think it was deserved.

Suspended? Yes, totally. Worth it? Yes, probably.

Good on the kid for stickin up for himself. The idiot kid who thought he was tough got what he deserved.

Shouldn't have been suspended either but awarded and the idiot kid should have been suspended along with his stupid mates.

Bravo to the larger kid. I've got no sympathy for bullies of any sort. The little scrote got what he deserved.

While personally i think the kid was well within his rights to pulverise the bully, schools are bound by their obligation to enforce a peaceful and non-violent image. But in the grand scheme of things, it matters very little, he gets time off school and that kid won't be bothering him again.

Edit: I'd be amazed if this Casey gets criminal charges put up against him. I'd expect the clear video evidence and public support would work in his favour.

The school had no choice to suspend the lad, although both should have been.

I've witnessed this kind of snap first hand and at some point, anyone bullied will. In the case I saw the lad but the bully's head through a glass door.

There was a thread earlier where somebody made a thread about Groen and then verbal bullying ensued against him.
Groen decided to answer back and get suspended.
That's life, not fair but that's how it goes.

I've never broken a bone, but I'm pretty sure that if it was broken he wouldn't be able to walk on it, even a bit.

Yes, the larger kid should have been suspended.
Yes, the smaller kid also should have been suspended (not sure if he was).

I'd probably smack the little twerp back if he took a dig at me like he did. powerbomb him? probably not.

I dont think suspending him for what he done was the right choice but i also dont think powerbombing the bully was either (i did enjoy watching it though).

In the short amount of time between the break and when he tried to walk on it, the adrenaline would mean that he could at least hobble (which he did).

back in the 90s when i was still at school i got bullied a bit because i was quiet in school and one day had enough lol one of the teachers praised me for it.

outside of school i hung around with some of the hardest people in the area but no one at school knew at that time or they wouldnt have dared, its amazing how people atitudes change when they realise who your friends are....

Provided the story behind it is true, the 'fat' kid did absolutely nothing wrong.

He used appropriate force to defend himself. It would be utterly stupid to suspend him.

The little retard fully deserved it.
