Interview with casey + his family

Saw this video on facebook and wanted to share and ask what you think about it?

From what I've read (could all be not true) this kid has been bullied all his life and that day he finally snapped, picked the guy up and bombed him into the concrete, an overreaction or not?
And the kid who dumped him onto the floor got suspended.
Half of me says, good on the lad bullies are ******** and deserve everything they get, other side makes me say that is an overreaction and that kid looks like he got his ankle broke.

Thoughts?

But the fact the kid got suspended for it to me is the worst part. That kid deserved it 100% maybe not to get (possibly) his ankle broken, but he deserved a beating.

It's right that the kid got suspended, although some would say he was right for doing what he did, schools can hardly promote an environment when violence and retaliation is the right thing to do.

And if he did nothing then it would haev just been another humiliating bullying session, that was being recorded and if it got put on the internet like that video was then it would be absolute humiliation.

Bullying is absolutely horrible and creates problems like this.

He should be suspended, however he was right in what he did. Shame it wasn't more damaging tbh.

If you listen there's a definite 'crack' noise. I think his ankle is broken.

Ah, good point.

The smack-down was an overreaction but scrawny kid did well and truly provoke larger kid.

Do we know if the scrawny one received any punishment for the bullying/punching?
Edit: Just read above.

The Aftermath

The Rat has a dislocated knee, therefore messing up his hourly breakdance routines

The Rat has been suspended for twenty two days, during which time he will dig himself underground to avoid the Beast's wrath in future.[citation needed]

The Beast got suspended for four days, according to his sister. However, it seems more likely he is taking a voluntary four day holiday in order to feed and slumber, so he can continue punishing those who wrong him.

The Rat's parents are suing anyone and everyone, including The Beast and the school. However, The Beast trades not in currency, but in human souls, so this will prove pointless for The Rat's swarm.

I do hope the last statement isn't true.

Youre right, he didnt deserve to get his ankle broken. What he actually deserved was to have both his legs broken, leaving him with a life long limp and a constant reminder of just how big a (insert various words) he is.

He walked upto a kid, and punched him in the face, for no reason. Im certainly against violence, but im even more against bullying. He had every right to snap, who knows how many times he has had to put up with that kind of thing happening. The little scrat deserved everything he got, and to be honest...although dropping someone like that is dangerous, the bullied kid was hardly thinking about that at the time, and nor should he have to. If im totally honest, I dont think I would feel sympathetic in the slightest if the kid had been paralysed.

I hope the bullied kid can finally get on and just enjoy his days at school without the constant worry of waking up every morning!

I completely understand your viewpoint and I am totally torn tbh.

What if he did get it wrong and the kid landed on his neck and he had killed him?

The kid deserved what he got, that is for sure, but just Captain Hindsight will say what if he broke his neck...

i cant believe people are approving that. standing up and defending yourself is one thing, but the rate that large kid turned and slammed that other kid in to the concrete is...concerning to say the least. It would appear, at least from the video, that he has a serious anger problem. that's not good for anybody, let alone somebody who's clearly a mountain compare to the other kids.

I'm sorry but getting bullied day in day out and finally snapping to me is not an anger problem.

It is the overwhelming pressure put on you and you finally snap.

And if he does have any anger issues, it's because bullies like that little **** gave them to him! I can't believe you are saying what he did was wrong. That kid completely deserved the **** beaten out of him, he must have made the kids life a misery.

I understand,

But...what if that day, the bullied kid didnt react, he got a few more punches, and walked home. When he got home, he was so fed up of being bullied everyday, that he hung himself? Something that happens from bullying far too often.

So the bully can keep bullying the kid, with the chance he may take his own life, but its worse for the bullied kid to react and snap and possibly paralyse the bully?

I know I know, like I said I'm torn. In this thread I have posted both sides of the coin and both arguments are reasonable.

@james.miller

I do not believe people are born angry.

Fine I don't know that he has been bullied in the past, however I do know, from now onwards he will not be,

And for the future of a kid not being bullied and having a nice childhood for the cost of some little skinny **** who deserves everything he gets getting his ankle broken, I think that's fine.

excuse me? the kid snapped and flew at him. if you cant see an anger problem then you must have been watching a different video.

Now, elaborate. what EXACTLY do i have no clue about? being bullied? anger issues? what? or are you just talking **** ?

Okay, you're a kid that is getting bullied, you have always been a 'large' kid.

Little scrawny kid comes up to you and starts calling you names,

Anger builds

People around are standing by watching, doing nothing,

Anger builds

You are also being recorded

Anger builds

Kid punches you in the face, doesn't really hurt cuz the kid is about 5 stone,

Still anger builds

Kid is jumping on his toes thinking he's a ****ing boxer and thinking he's acting hard in front of his friends

Anger builds again

The kid keeps taking swings at you

And snap.

TBF I think the kid had good self control to last as long as he did before he snapped. You are a fool if you think he has anger issues.

oh because thats so similar isnt it:rolleyes:

If you can't see the similarity then you sir are blind.

Kid gets bullied stands there and takes it

Man getting harrassed stands there and takes it

Kid keeps getting taunted and snaps

Man keeps getting taunted and snaps

You don't see any similarities at all?
