Bulmers vs Magners

The Bulmers in the UK is different to the Magners, although very similar.

The Bulmers in Ireland is the same as Magners.

Magners is best imo. (or Bulmers in Ireland)

I know that Mangers is called Bulmers in Southern Ireland, so they may well be from the same big stainless steel vat.

The local Wetherspoons here ran out of Magners, and I was advised that Bulmers would satisfy my quench. How wrong they were, it tasted a bit like white cider, a bit sharp and certainly not as smooth as Magners.
Needless to say I wont be purchasing Bulmers again, though I am intrigued to try the Irish version.

I am not a cider fan and didn't like the taste when I hit 20 and my taste buds evolved.

Magners however, is my drink of the moment and it is so refreshing with ice. It is the only cider I can drink though.
