Bumper respray cost.

Paint is starting to bubble and flake off my front bumper, I stopped by a local bodyshop to see if they could fix it. It looks like my bumper has previously been repainted badly and the paint isn't sticking well to the plastic.

They want £360 all in to:

Remove front bumper, remove all the loose paint, prep and repaint/refit.

Remove wing mirror and repaint/refit

Repaint and polish a funny small mark on the roof.

It's a A3 in red, not metallic or anything fancy.

This sounds a little steep to me, but they have a good reputation and the chap is confident I won't need any blending. Looking online prices seem to vary quite substantially.

What do you guys think?

If they are repainting the full or half the roof sounds fine, otherwise too Mich I'd expect something like:

Bumper 120-150
Mirror 40
Roof spot repair 50 or roof full repair 120-150
 
I paid £100 for my Porsche bumper but I supplied it to them off the car with no bits attached, they said if I didn't they would have charged 3 times as much.

I think it's probably the higher end of reasonable then. Certainly can't see myself removing and refitting the bumper.
