What is harsh is coming back to find your car bumped by the git right next to you who can't be even bothered to leave a note.Looking at the scrape it would have brought his car to a stop.

Like I said. The one time I bumped a parked car I left my contact details, paid the (large) bill, and moved on.

He could have gone to get a pen and paper? How long "didn't" you wait?

Actively keying someone's car even in this situation say volumes about the kind of person you are.

really the thread title should read Car Keyed By Arse :p

what car do you have?

i would have taken the reg and gone to reception to see if they could call that person so you could speak to them
keying their car and driving off is a bit silly really

who's to say she (cos its gotta be a woman) did notice, but didn't know what to do and had an appointment herself so didn't wait? She may have put a note on your windscreen but it may have flew off etc.

really you are scum for keying her car, she hit you by ACCIDENT. You did it on purpose.

Come on...blew off eh? Yeah right

And to say he/she considers her appointment more important than failing to stop after an accident is not acceptable. It takes 30 seconds to write a note and put it under the wiper securely.

You haven't confronted the possibility that the perp was off to find some paper for a note.

You were parked at a hospital. Lots of emergency situations going on there.

Where was that post a couple of weeks ago where we had one message saying about having keyed a car after something happened. I just remember the circumstances as not being so different to this, but I don't recall anyone in that thread getting crazy about keying as an act of retribution.

Is this a joke? Your a total idiot. Someone accidentaly hits your car and you go and key theirs? You caused criminal damage. They did nothing against the law.

Really? I thought they were like Tesco. :p

As I said and so have a couple others, have you considered the fact that the person DOES NOT HAVE PAPER AND A PEN IN THEIR CAR, I know I don't carry any one me, ever! So they could well have gone to get some.

Had a hospital appointment this morning for my slipped disc op and came back to find my body coloured rear bumper had been in a paint swapping session with the focus parked right next to me.

The dark blue paint from his front bumper was scraped onto my rear bumper, and my rear bumper paint was all over his front. Down to the plastic on mine.

What an idiot - no note apologising on my windscreen or anything.

One dirty note stuffed under his windscreen wiper and my key down his passenger door should encourage more careful parking on his behalf in future, hopefully.

Either he realised he done it and hoped I wouldn't notice, or he didn't realise and has to accept that nasty scratches like he put in my car can just as readily happen to his. Total donkey

Rant over

You're not so much a ****** for keying their car but for telling everyone thinking that they'd give you a pat on the back for it, though personally, I doubt you did anything of the sort.

I'll just echo what has been said really.

I've owned many a car in my life and I've returned to more than one of them to find damage (sometimes pretty minor, othertimes not so).
I have also been in the poisiton where I've been 99.9% sure that the car still beside me caused the problem.

Damaging another person's car - no, never, not ever.
You had our sympathy, it was annoying and I'm sure there were things you could have done.
What you did however was lower than low - sympathy gone.
You've got you're "revenge", it wasn't served cold, maybe in the cold light of day you'll realise what you've done was wrong.

I think I know which one you mean. I was the only person to question him, in fact I thought he was kidding :/
