Hi,

Potentially a bit of a controversial topic but I advertise products in a "for sale" section of an IT webiste here in Singapore (common practice over here). The site has no problems with the threads being bumped up to a max 3 bumps per day.

I am looking for a way to bump a vBulletin thread from a linux command line so I can automate using cron or at.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this ?.

Thanks
RB

you'll probably want cURL for that. don't ask me how to use it though. :p

Thanks for a bit of direction :).

I do have my own vBulletin license so can test myself to avoid distruption to anyone else.

Not after causing problems, just trying to save me having to remember to post in the threads 3 times a day. Automating a very boring manual task.

Cheers
RB
