Bunching up PSU Cables

Hi All

I have been putting together a new computer over the last few days and I have needed to bundle all of the PSU cables up into the basement of the case as I have used cable extensions meaning there is lots of cable!

I havnt ever really needed to do this before and I was just worried that there may be some sort of issue with heat build up or damage to the cables if they are all bunched up in a small space (power supply basement).

Is this something that I need to be worried about?

Thanks!

Unless you're drawing too high current per individual wire they don't heat in any meaningfull way.
Using 8 pin EPS12V cable for CPU and in case of high end graphics card two separate 8 or 6+2 pin cables should also keep additional voltage losses low.
