Right i purchased a P35C-DS3R and i'm currently waiting on some GeiL 6400 DDR2 from our very own OCUK (del Tues) and i'm waiting on an E6600 from a forum member as well.
Basically i want to make sure i don't forget to do anything etc, and things are more complicated as i cant do a clean sweep as to not having my XP disc anymore, so must go with this setup until i get Vista next year sometime.
Also i think i installed my drivers wrong last time. I'm sure i'm not getting full SATA II from my HD, and also my DVDRW never really worked (i cant install DVD games, i have to copy image to HD, then install from that, time consuming) i don't have a FD and didnt make a drivers disk.
This is what i told could be the problem anyway, and that a full install would fix it.
So any idea how i should approach this mess? Fixing the problems would be a bonus, however i think that cannot be solved and i just hope i just swap the core around without much hassle.
