So my friend wants to get into pc gaming and is not confident in building his own PC.He has pointed this build out to me with the extra peripherals, hasn't added the speakers on yet but they be picked up at same time or whenever.

Question is,is this a good bundle for him or do you think it could be picked up cheaper?ideally wants i7 to keep him going for while with the choice of going SLI in the future.

Any recommendations will be highly appreciated and many thanks for your time and help.

Wonder if you can ask for a FuryX or something to be put in to make use of the freesync function of the monitor, or select a Gsync one.

Surely £2K is a silly amount of money for your friend to "get into pc gaming"... He could start off with something more cost effective and if he really gets into it, then buy the monster. Otherwise its a lot of money to drop to "Try" something, Its like starting to play golf and the first day go out and buy a new £1000 set of clubs without even striking the ball.

Fair point,we had the discussion awhile back.Been gaming since Atari days and just fancied the next step up from consoles.Defo keen as he's flogged all his consoles and raised the fish for it, I will talk with him again to see if he's double sure.As you say it is quite a sum.

Cheers
