Hi, looking for some advice about bundle choices and graphics cards. I have a budget of around £400 to split between a bundle and a card (I currently have a 1Gb HD4850 and want something a bit more powerful).
I have noticed that there are some great deals on AMD Bulldozer bundles, but not everything I have heard about Bulldozer is great... on the other hand i5s seem quite pricey in comparison but I have heard only good things about them. i3 I am really not sure about and i7 is probably out of my price range.
Of course, the more I spend on the bundle the less I have for a graphics card, and I was hoping for something like a HD7850, so roughly £220/£180 split bundle/card? Or would it be a good idea to put a lot into the bundle and muddle along with the HD4850 for a while longer? I game but I'm not super-serious about it and don't mind turning things down a notch if I have to, but would like something that is comfortable running modern games at 1080 which my 4850 struggles with sometimes.
