Bundle package from Peter Tyson why/how so much cheaper?

I'm looking at buying the Audiolab 6006A amp (£650) and Bowers & Wilkins 607 S2 speakers (£450).

Those are the lowest prices in brackets I can see for them online individually.

Yet on petertyson they are offering this as a package with 4m of QED XT25 speaker cable and a Chord Clearway RCA-RCA Interconnect cable all for £899, a good £200 less. How is this possible?

Have you heard that package together? I had audiolab and b&w not a good combination pretty harsh.

No not heard it, but both are highly reviewed, so was putting it as a possible contender, I may demo it or just take the plunge the space where I intend to sight the speakers isn't huge so limited in choice. Just can't figure out the pricing at all, you could expect maybe a 5% discount but anything more where's their profit margin gone.

life is too short to worry about profit margin, that's the retailers problem. Peter Tyson has been around for years & has a significant online market in Hi-Fi & AV circles. Buy the package & enjoy if that's what you want. But not before listening as @hornetstinger said as it may not suit your personal taste.

l’ve used Peter Tyson a few times over the years. Last time was about 3 months ago buying the Audiolab 6000a play . VERY reliable company , and no hassle in regards returns.

Yeah I like dealing with Peter Tyson also. Bought my Bowers & Wilkins 606's from them msot recently (before that was the Denon AVR-X2400H). 5 year warranty and same cable (although not needed) with the 606 speakers was about £400. Oh and free next day delivery.
