Bundle recommendation

My pc is on it's last legs so I'm looking to spend about £450 on a new motherboard,processor and ram. Anyone kind enough to spec me up? Ideally i7

i5 2500k (Dont get the 2600k unless you need the extra threads for video editing/encoding/folding)
a Z68 motherboard (gigabyte or ASUS, )
4GB of corsair XMS3 of vengance

^ Thats pretty much the standard now, no need to go any higher spec unless you KNOW you need the extra RAM or CPU threads
with any extra money upgrade your GPU or get an SSD

I'm assuming you already have an after market cooler but if not, go for the Corsair A50 or ask for other recommendation on the Overclocking and cooling board or here.

If you have a aftermarket heatsink thats Intel® socket LGA775 only fitment and doesnt have socket 1156/55 fitment it can be fitted to the Asrock board

it will be mainly used for gaming, thanks for the advice guys much appriciated! and yeah i do have an aftermarket heatsink so that would great if i could use it with new setup

Well for mostly gaming the the i5 2500K is all you need, the i7 2600K has Hyperthreading and a little more cache onboard, none of these things affect game performance,
