I'm looking to upgrade the PC for the long-term run. As things stand now, I'm starting to see the difference in power with my current set-up against newer machines. Here's my current set-up:
Intel Core2Duo 1.6GhZ
Nvidia 8800GT 512MB
4GB Kingston 800mHz
GigaByte P35-DS3L
2 x Samsung Spinpoint F1 320GB HDDs
Enermax Liberty 500W ATX 2.2 PSU...
I'm at the point where I have to hugely OC the CPU just to ensure fluidity in my gaming. It's getting on, I think... I'll be using the system for gaming (graphic intensive) and eventually for photo-processing.
I was hoping that perhaps I could use this:

... and continue using the 8800 (for the time being), the PSU and the HDDs. Dare I say, the performance jump would be huge? Any creative input would be most welcomed.
