Hi bought an Asus defcon 2 bundle, i thought they came fully assembled ready to plug in. Just recived it today and the cooler is still in the box and has not been attached.
was Just wondering if this was normal ?

I would think it would be normal for the cooler not to be attatched due to shipping.

What cooler is it ?

It's a Alpenföhn Matterhorn Black CPU Cooler
Would I need paste to fit it, because it never came with any.
Never fitted any thing more than a gfx card

Im a bit suprised the bundles dont come with paste but yes you will need to get some, I would contact Overclcokers they may send you some.

When you fit the cooler to the motherboard be very careful not to overtighten it.

Ok cheers for the advice, I'll give them a bell tomorrow. I got home after they were shut today
