Bundled Wii games, what to keep/sell?

My Mum managed to get hold on a Wii for my sister. It's a boxed bundle pack and comes with Mario & Sonic Olympic Games, Mario Party 8 & Rayman Rabbits 2.

I have a Wii myself and a couple of remotes so she should be able to play some games with the family. But we live in the middle of no where so she's really going to be gaming on her own.

Mum wants to sell one of the games because at £280 it's a bit too much. I paid £250 for mine last year with 3 games.

Also they got my mum to buy a ****ware Battery & Charging Station which cost £20. Is this OK or is there a better one for cheaper?

Cheers guys and gals,

Tobes

I think a regular set of rechargeable would have been better value for money (I paid £12 ish for mine) and the charger has multiple uses. I'd be tempted to ditch the charging station, get a good charger and batteries and sell Mario Party 8.

sell Mario Party 8 & Rayman Rabbits 2.
hang onto the charger unit, if it's like mine, the charger plugs into the Wii's power supply and charges the Wiimotes (2 of them) while your not using the Wii.

RR 2. Do you not think that will be suitable for my sister. I should have added that she's 13. I don't know myself as I haven't played it but I assumed it was a good single player game.

The docking thing is just for 1 remote if the picture on the box is right.

My fiancée loved Rayman 2 (and the original). She's not really a gamer at all, but because it's a series of different and amusing mini games it's kept her really entertained. She played it 3 hours solid on her own last weekend!

My experience of Mario Party games is that they are slow (and a bit boring) on your own, and without alcohol. I think it'd be a mistake to dump Rayman 2 for it...

(I'm basically saying do the opposite of Yungstar, lol).

Yeh I think I'm with you and when my mum first asked I said I would probably sell Mario Party. On the rechargeable batteries though, I'm not doubting my sisters technological ability's but I know a dock or some kind would be more handy. I have the p&c kit for my 360 and wouldn't ditch it for rechargeables.

Really tempted to buy myself a Wii game though. None of the games she has will cut it for me. Thinking about Mario Galaxy, Paper Mario or Metroid.

Metroid I think is awesome, but damn hard. But then, I am now a casual gamer by definition :p

I agree with you on the charging dock too; it was just an observation in my first post.

Mario Galaxy is very easy and if my daughters are anything to go by, your sister should like it.

others..
Paper Mario & Wario.
i actually prefer Paper Mario over Galaxy, but thats just me, as the 4 other people in our house don't care for it.

p.s.

don't forget that you can also play Gamecube games on Wii if you have the games and pads.

Might wait till my sister buys it then if its easy.

As for Gamecube yeh I have a controller, bongos and a couple of games. Will explain to her to look for cheap GC games.

XPE. Going to give a decent post? I'm happy for your opinion but it needs to be explained.
