Bungee suspension for P150

Well the bungee holding my two HDD's have both snapped, luckily the drives weren't damaged. The funny thing is I was reading about them snapping only last week. :rolleyes:

Anyhow the question, do you think Antec will supply new ones under warranty, they know about this problem and newer P150's come with different bungee? If they don't what's the name of a product I can use to replace it with (no links to competitors please)?

Yep, the o-rings have been upgraded to ‘fabric-reinforced elastic rings’. See here.

Hard drives aren’t meant to operate at uneven angles (only 90/180 degrees). For peace of mind, you can insert one of the drive sleds upside-down, underneath. In the event of an undetected o-ring breakage, that will catch the drive and keep it relatively level. Not that they’ve been any reports of the new style rings breaking.
