Hey all

My TV has had a burn in it for a while since when some mates stopped in my living room and left a DVD menu screen on all night (approx 8 - 9 hours) and burned in a dark patch on the screen. It's finally bugged me enough to try and fix it.

So what's the best method? I've tried things for stuck pixels before, but not "burns".

Thanks!

a screen full of white will burn it out, but again this will deteriorate the life of the screen.

Just googled it and someone is saying create a black paint file the same size as your resolution and run it as a slideshow.

I was told white before?

Yeah I read the same thing about the white screen, not the black though! I've made my wallpaper a white screen so it fills up my TV screen and I have turned the backlight down as low as it will go, hopefully will do something if I leave it on the majority of today!

Cheers.
