So my P7P55D Deluxe has a Foxconn socket. Should I be worried? Has anyone had any experience with crap contact between the pins and CPU? What can I do to ensure this doesn't happen?

Thanks.

I think I remember this mentioned a month or two ago on here.

In general, the chance of something bad happening is massively over exagerated on the news, general internet and pc forums - Just take Toyota's pedals for instance!

Typical reviews of components are either 5 star 'I love it and sleep next to it at night' or 1 star 'omg it is broken I am never buying from manufacturer xyz again!'.
There are many many normal reviews but I have noticed that many component reviews are the extremes.

Personally, I would not worry about it. May be don't leave it on downloading when no-one is home if you are very concerned, but that is it.

Hope this helps:).

I know only a few mobos were affected but I would like to know how I can check. I always oc as far as I can safely but I need to know what is safe.
