That's right! On Doomhammer today it appeared we'd destroyed the Legion! All mobs had disappeared, got a shedload of exploring experience as i wandered as far as Netherstorm! 
Also, apparently the Azeroth citizens didn't feel like staying around, as there were no friendly npcs either. Couldn't do retrievel quests either as all things such as chests had disappeared.
Only the instances worked..... stupid Blizzard
