Burnout Paradise Remaster

Loved this the first time around. As you say if its priced right I will pick it up.

I only have 3 platinum trophies and this was my first!

Don't we already have burnout paradise on Xbox one?

Edit: was free with xbox gold 360 version, i was playing it few months ago.

Seems pointless buying a remaster. If I have 360 version.

£35 Is really steep for this imo, essentially just a bump in resolution, the trailer looks pretty much identical to the pc release. I guess loads of games do it so can't blame them here but should be priced better imo.

Either way, takedown is the one I wanted to get redone :D. Not a fan of open world racers :(

Seems like a missed opportunity not releasing on the switch. I played the hell out of this on the PS3 and wouldn't really be interested in playing it again for just a res bump on the ps4 (if I still had it).

However having it available on the move with a switch release just like Skyrim I would be all over it.

It's up for preorder already on the Playstation Store, £35.

Am i right in saying this game is a bit like Forza Horizon?

Hmm, a little steep. If it was £25.00 I'd have brought, guess I'll wait a little longer. Not played Horizon but from what I've seen similar games. You get a car and drive around a city doing challenges such as racing, stunts and dodging other cars trying to knock you off the track. For each event you win you get a car and as you drive around you will see special cars that if you can smash them up you get. Also there are shortcuts and hidden areas to find.

I spent hours on the PS3 version just driving around listening to the sound track.

Well I still have the Xbox 360 version that I bought on release and not opened :) for some reason it just didn't appeal to me so I never got around to playing it although I knew people liked it a lot.

So what is it about the game that people liked so much?

Freedom to drive anywhere within the game world and plenty to do. And I always felt the cars felt fast, there was a real sense of speed when you were boosting down a street and did a power slide around a corner. And the music :p.

Hmm, never really loved this game but hopefully it sells a decent number and EA can get to work on the Mass Effect trilogy when they see it's worthwhile to do remasters.
