Burnout Paradise - Save game gone!!

So I traded mine ages ago and just borrowed one from a friend with the bike addon.

Loads it up all excited and not got any cars, my license is reset!

Though it knows how many gates etc I have crashed into!

Anyone else have this problem?

I restored a backed up save from an external drive as I had a borked PS3 without issues.

Maybe because the PS3/360 somehow recognises that it is a different copy ??!?!?!

Gutted! Doesn't seem anyway to get it back!
