A lot of peeps (including myself) use the Burnout Racer. But any of the top tier cars can win and it comes down to personal choice in the end tbh.

Sorry to change the topic but...

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Finally got 1.59.33 on the 2nd White Mountain Hot Lap (had to do it in 2.00). I've been at this for nearly 2 days and started to seriously think about calling it quits.

With the mrs only saying 'that's nice dear, will you stop swearing now?' I felt the need to share this with people who'd 'understand'.

Fantastic.

So I've perfected everything except...

The Eternal City Crashbreaker Road Rage (Long Forward); where you have to get 30 takedowns.

And I've nearly given up. I can consistently get 20 to 24 takedowns but I can't get the last few.

I beleive my tactics are generally good as I got 39 takedown on the other road rage event thats similar.

If I take it easy so as not to crash I run out of time, if I drive more aggresively I crash, and as I can only crash 2 / 3 times it feels like a lose/lose situation.

I believe there's a medium car in the game, but I don't have it so I'm using a light car.

I'm close to dispair on this one and the controller has come close to be hurtled at the wall.

So close yet so far, any tips? (or choice of car)

Embarassingly for me i got my little sister to do this one for me as it did my head in, she got about 65 kills in the end :eek:

she used the xbox car to do it (super light so any will do, f1 car are cack cos the go under the opponents without getting takeouts) seems to be that the trick is slow enough not to crash but try for lots of takedowns in quick succession. Also, regaurdless of how often you crash, by the time u get to 20 odd takedowns you are very likely to get 'damage critical' so try to get up to about 24 kills as quick as possible with as few crashes as poss then ease off with hopefully a good amount of time built up for the last few. It's a tought one tho tbh m8

Probably my best achievement, 2nd is COD2 veteran. Boy that was tough. So very very tough. Not sure whose happier though, me for getting it done or the mrs whose said she'll smash the DVD and dance on it the moment I finished it.

Lol congrats m8, its a mighty achievement that one! The online ones are a pain tho, as are all the sig takedowns. Im struggling to decide whether or not i could live with myself leaving burnout with only 75% of the ach's unlocked
