Bus speed - i5 2500k

I just opened CPU-Z and my bus speed is jumping about to no end, i've seen it go as low as 95 and go as high as 105. This isn't right is it??? I am at stock at the moment, as the hot weather made my temperatures too hot on my overclock.

Is this right? I thought it was meant to stay stable at 100Mhz...

You need to set it manually to 100 in the BIOS

Speedstep will only change the multiplier and the voltage

Posting a link to a page about speedstep is hardly relevant to the OP's issue.

This is quite clearly spread spectrum at work

Turn off spread spectrum

I fixed it, it was load line control at level 1 that did that... don't like that in the slightest! I have got to get me a new motherboard... nothing but issues with this one
