Hello.
I had the above Freeview recorder but it broke. I uploaded the hard drive content to my PC. They are in chunk files and probably encrypted. Has anyone any ideas how I could break the encryption and view these files? Thank you.

Oof might be tricky. It’s unlikely the files contain anything useful, are you just trying to recover the media?

Hmm I've not seen any sort of decoding apps for a long long time. I can't think of anything recent. I did use to use https://www.avforums.com/ but not been there for a long time, but might be worth a look/search.
