Hi,
I'd be grateful if someone could suggest some plants/bushes to use in the boarders of my garden. I don't have any knowledge on the area but would like things that are:
Relatively low maintenance
Colorful
Flower
Bushy
Around 2-3m tall
(I appreciate ticking all these boxes might not be possible!)
Ideally I'd like to really fill the boarders out however they are only around 600-800mm deep on average with some larger areas around the corner areas.
The garden faces east so there is initially some shade on the righthand side until later in the year where it is mostly full sun until late afternoon.
Quick plan below. There is a rambling rose bush in the planter on the patio along with bulbs running along a bed behind the retaining wall. Two ash trees in the middle corners and one smaller tree on the far right. My neighbours garden follows a similar layout to mine so their garage is what casts shadow into my garden.

Edit: should add I have clay soil but have mixed in lots of manure before mulching. I do have topsoil to mix it too.
