On going issue with an iphone and filing emails.
The user has a folder hierarchy in Thunderbird.
Inbox
- Artists
- Artist Name1
- Artist Name2
- Artist Name3
The mail system is using imap.
When the user files an email from Inbox to Artist Name1
The iphone is creating a new folder called ArtistsArtist Name1
So it seems to be joining the folder names together.
We have tried updating the software, switching phones, but the problem still persists.
I have also tried playing with the imap path prefix which is set too / by standard.
Any ideas what else I can look at to find out why emails filed on the iphone are causing this issue.
---
It's quite clear what the phone is doing, it cant see the Artist Name1 as a sub folder of Artists, so it is creating a new folder called ArtistsArtist Name1, but the question is why?
And how to stop this behaviour.
