Hi guys,
I am starting up a business and im not sure about our current name and i wanna make sure before we get registered and things.

The current name is M & M Installations. M & M is the first initial of our surnames - Stuart McCollum & Philip Magill.

We will hopefully be installing kitchens and bathrooms mainly but we would undertake any work out there eg. wooden floors, tiling, all plumbing work, timber decking, basically we both have a lot of experience and we want to put it to good use.

I would be greatful if you guys could help me come up with something.

And another thing where is the best place to advertise?

What do you mean too late?[/QUOTE]

???

I would like something to grab peoples attention whe they see it in the yellow pages or their local paper.

McCollum & Magill?

Straight to the point and actually sounds really good and much better then something as bland and generic as M & M :D

No job too small, patios a speciality.

*n
that doesnt sound to bad actually maybe a little change to suit me as i live in the north and we want to specialise in kitchens and bathrooms.

Mention that you specialise in hardwood erections or fitting tight pipes, that'll grab their attention :p

A guy who lives beside me owns a scaffolding company, "Fox's Scaffolding - For Better Erections". He's doing well for himself so it seems to work :D

Either this or McCollum-Magill Installations

Don't go for something high tech or punny like most start up small businesses. :p
